Hello and Welcome!

I can’t tell you how very happy I am that you’ve stumbled across my piece of the internet to view the new Leah Maria Photography blog site! To say that this has been a long time coming would be a colossal understatement. Leah Maria Photography has been in existence for an unbearably long year without a logo, presence or vision and you’re not the only one surprised that it’s continued while lacking those key elements of a successful business! I was as well, and practically beat myself up at every opportunity for failing to operate as what I deemed a “real” company.

But what I began to realize is that perception isn’t everything. Clients, you – my fantastic clients, kept inquiring, returning to me for follow up sessions, because of a connection with me, not my brand. I want to thank everyone who has ever put their faith in me to capture a smile, giggle or momentous moment despite the appearance of my business, appreciating my personality and ability to photograph more.

It’s now time to reward that faith, by looking at something pretty! Above are several useful links including Pricing and Contact information. The Portfolio will continue to expand and I hope to include a FAQ section in the future as well! Take a spin through, there are several news posts published here as well that were not on my old blog!

I’m pumped to promise that this will not be a stagnant site. I am certain there will be change again, in the near future and a large majority of it will stem from this weekend’s developments, as I head off to the Making Things Happen 2010 Intensive in Phoenix, Arizona. I have not witnessed a single person escape MTH unscathed and expect a dramatic overhaul. Only better things to come in 2011!

Finally, a huge thank you to my friends and family. Especially these two.

You are my life. My very reason to wake up in the morning to face another day, tackle another challenge, and my recovery from the sometimes negative effects of life. I wouldn’t know how to begin to shoot families without knowing the love of my own. You are my muses. I could not do this without you.
